RANGE ROVER CLASSIC
2 DOor COUPE – LHD

restored BY OVERFINCH WORKS

This spectacular Range Rover Classic 1982 2 Door is today’s most sought-after vintage Land Rover.

This vehicle was disassembled and stripped by Overfinch Works back to bare metal. Any age-related corrosion or metal fatigue was addressed and restored before the vehicle underwent a modern re-paint in the vivid and timeless Tuscan Blue.

The interior features two new front seats with seat belts, and new wiring looms and critical safety items have been installed.

Overfinch Works have dedicated 1,580 hours to this pristine vehicle that exceeds its original factory condition. The process involved fully cleaning and rebuilding the 3.5 V8 litre petrol engine, completing it to a zero-mile standard.

UPHOLSTERY

The individual front seats and original rear bench seat have been given an entirely new lease of life. Finished in a period-correct Herringbone Tan nylon, the hand-stitched seats have been re-cushioned to a standard that can only be appreciated by taking a seat and sinking deep into them.

CHASSIS

Overfinch Works use an extensive re-galvanising process that simply wasn’t available in 1982, meaning you can rest assured that ownership of this classic Range Rover won’t be hindered by the same risks of corrosion of yesteryear.

ENGINE

The infamous Rover 3.5 V8 has undergone a complete engine rebuild and restoration, effectively making this a zero-mile example as if it had just rolled off the production line in Solihull.  Although each nut and bolt has been refurbished or reproduced, every aspect of this glorious V8 has been precisely reassembled to its original standard.

INTERIOR

Everything you interact with as the driver has been kept true to the original Range Rover design, but with a revived aesthetic throughout the entire interior. Important details from the refurbished Smiths gauges to the wonderfully retrimmed four-spoke steering wheel add up to a truly memorable driving experience.

UNDERPINNINGS

Original Range Rovers were fitted with coil springs and differentials for permanent four-wheel drive. Our highly-skilled engineers have refurbished the entire running gear of the car with a ‘no expense spared’ approach, meaning the new suspension and fully rebuilt differentials simply cannot be rivalled by any other example on the market.
